Hi Guys;
Just to let you know that Lydney is hosting the Thornbury “drink the bar dry” team on
Friday / Saturday 4th /5th October. We are expecting around 8 boats on the Friday evening tide
And some more on the Saturday. LYC will be doing a “Pot Curry” both veggie and carnie varieties
On the Friday night.
Thornbury are having a BarBQ On Saturday evening ( LYC providing the Marquee and Barbeque,
TSC bringing their Charcoal and food.
Members from any of the local clubs are very welcome to join us but you will have to let us know by
Thursday latest if you need feeding. Otherwise bring your own grub and just help us drink the bar dry.
You may even get presented with an official “I’ve survived a weekend at Lydney” certificate!
Musicians with guitars etc especially welcome and we will try out our new sound system for you!
