John Christie is arranging his annual Drascombe Association river trip over the June Bank Holiday.
Please find the attached joining instructions for the River Avon Rally at Bidford on Avon – Barton Moorings
Because it is the Bank Holiday and Queen’s Jubilee the time is extended but you can mix and match days. Saturday and Sunday will be the standard Rally and this can be extended until Tuesday.
Several boats are going by road to the Pitsford Rally straight after.
Please send in your rally application form as soon as possible if you wish to come.
Please confirm crew numbers and names if not on your application for dinner on Friday and Saturday. Needed urgently!!
Please make sure you have got your Avon navigation licence – easily done by ringing the Navigation office – see notes on attached PDF file.
There is no need to have a Small Boat Safety Scheme inspection. You will have signed a rally application form stating your insurance >£3M and this will be sufficient.
Just ring the Avon Navigation Trust office – speak to Elaine Baird and pay for the days you wish. She is expecting your call!!
