Next Work Day

Hi All,
A reminder that we have only two more scheduled workdays before the beginning of the season and we still have a lot to get finished. This coming Saturday the 10th March, and Saturday 24th March are our last two days before the start of the season.

Please can we have a massive turnout of muscle on both days to get the rest of the earth moving completed, the site raked out and grass seed down. You’ve all done brilliantly so far and its always the last 20% of the work that gets boring!! Please bring spades, shovels, picks, rakes and wheelbarrows as well as your good selves and lets get the jobs finished.  Grub will be available as usual.

As you are all aware, we have the LYC 50th anniversary looming rapidly and also Susan and I have been researching the possibility of funding to develop the club. To a large extent our success in this respect will depend on how we are perceived as a club and what use we are making of the facilities we already have. Thus we need to have the place fully sorted asap, quite apart from our own self-respect as a club.

See you all on Saturday 10th. Full details of projects and videos can be seen at The rear Commodore’s news page  http://marinesurveying.info/bio/lydney-yacht-club/
