Friday 4th December: Music with The Harry Browns from 7:30pm
we are very lucky to be joined by The Harry Browns of Bristol who will be performing sea songs and shanties and leading a sing-along!
The Harry Browns are a renowned Bristol based Sea Shanty group:
“Our singing is mature and well balanced, like a good beer, with voices able to deliver a paint stripping, gale force shanty, or tender songs about love and loss in soaring harmonies. We sing for the love and enjoyment of singing, to share this with an audience and to keep alive the music and traditions of all who go to sea, or wait on the shore.”

Sunday 6th December: Kids Christmas Party & Bar Open
Join in family Christmas party games with a film for the kids. From 4:30pm…bring a plate to share.

The Lydney Yacht Club Annual Dinner Dance and Trophy Presentation
Held this year at Watney Hall in Lydney (home to the British Legion). Free mooring at the back of the hall. Cruisers and Dinghies to slip their moorings by 2300hrs.
Dress : Black Tie
A buffet service including beef, chicken, ham, salmon and vegetarian options will be provided. A bar will be open for us in the hall, with complementary wine to start. There is also an additional bar downstairs at 3 Hill Street.
Entertainment will be provided by American Eric (A Rock n Roll Combo).
Tickets: £15 Adults / £7.50 Children, cheques made out to Lydney Yacht Club or cash payable at the club bar. Tickets will be issued on payment. If you can’t get to the club to buy your tickets, please contact Christine Nutting (07758 953164) to arrange payment and ticket collection.
31st December New Years Eve Bash…bring a plate to share (maybe some leftovers?) from 7:30pm at the club.
Sunday 10th January: Frozen Blades paddle or row on the canal
From 12noon try not to get your feet wet followed by Bacon Rolls (and Veggie option). Sign the list at the bar or contact Christine Nutting.
